Kurt Geiger videos – In action in-store

A video, of a video. In Kurt Geiger’s flagship store in London’s Covent Garden. It’s a fancy shop, so it needed a fancy video to show in it, well several actually. You can see them all right here in this site.

Inside Ansel Adams’ home darkroom

This is pretty incredible. If you can get past the cheesy production and sometimes dodgy camera panning and editing there’s actually a very interesting watch on how Adams worked to create his famous photos. He was dodging and burning photos left-right and centre to get the shots he wanted. I bet he would have loved the creativity that Lightroom gives to edit photos. Watching this really makes me want to step in to a darkroom and process some film. Something very alluring about the analogue work flow of processing in a darkroom. Inspirational stuff.

Jetpack test flight

This really is very, very cool. These will be commercially available soon. Shame the test flight uses a dummy not a real person and is controlled remotely, but it’s still impressive.
